Yeah I guess you could. If your job is like mine though it ebbs and flows, one week is 20 hours and the next is 60. Imagine the week where you have 2 jobs at 60 hours each.

Why would you want to torture yourself like that
This.
I'm curious about the legal implications. Especially if the consulting firms pursue legal action if they learn you are freelancing. I'm totally for it, but corporate America probably isn't.
Nice try, HR.
Well I’m barely contributing to my team. Probably 5/10 hrs a week. I wouldn’t mind doubling my salary if I find a similar job.
Assuming they’re both professional jobs how do you manage the hours. They’re not both 9-5?
Yes you can do, many are

Do you have to let both employers know
@Manager1 Actually notifying employer is good practice. Definitely not in India but outside yes. I did had offers from outside India which did not had the famous clause that Indian HR likes of restriction on dual employment. I had asked to overseas HR and she said you just need to notify and there is generally no objection unless you are working for their competitors which is rarely the case. She herself told me that for many less responsibility jobs they don't have that clause they only have it for big positions like directors but with allowance to run their own business (no direct intervention/coding just leading teams and obviously without overlapping company domain). People doing multiple jobs is really common there. Some of my friends in India also do double job but like you said without letting employer know and getting salaries into their spouse/parents accounts.
Yeah, interested in how you are doing this? Would love to bring in some extra cash
Register a llc on your parents/spouse name. Make sure you are nominated in it. Make a TransferWISE account on company name. It helps in generating local virtual bank account numbers in US, EU and many other countries where you can receive payments and is much faster and provides good conversion rates while brining it to your Indian company bank account. Give inovice to clients on company name. If your profits are less than 20L you can skip most of documentation but if goes then llc gst number will be helpful for taxes. Then you can just adjust inovice amount to include gst and adjust base amount and submit same on gst portal for tax purposes. Better to hire ca to take care of it.
Otherwise simply accept payment in name of your spouse/non-earning member and just pay their taxes.
No. One full time job since 2010 is like 2 full time jobs in 1960. I can only handle so many hours per week
