IP Attorneys (patent, trademark or both) what’s your billable hours expectation/target where you work (small mid or big law)?

I feel like I am drowning. My mom’s first year anniversary is coming up, things are not good at home with my dad and sister, I am about to breakup with my SO, and deeply unsatisfied with my job.

Is WLB in the region really as bad as it's made out to be? Any firms or countries to target that offer better wlb than others?

Hi can you suggest , JP Morgan or TIAA ( both mumbai) which is better? In terms work culture/ work life balance and employee growth.

I will be getting their offers next week. Not sure which to choose. Jp is giving ,21 lpa, yet to negotiate with TIAA. Yoe- 5.9.

Would you leave external audit for internal audit even if there is no base increased, just sign on bonus? Been having an awful year round busy season and I’m just done. I have heard from multiple sources that WLB is better.

Does anyone here work for any public accounting firms in the Charlotte area with a decent work life balance? I am looking to go somewhere where I can focus on a few clients for longer periods of time rather than constantly bouncing around. I find it much less stressful to put in longer hours if it's a client that I have been scheduled on long term.

I hate what I do and am working to switch service lines. In the meantime, I am struggling to care at all about my daily work (and if I don’t care, it’s hard to focus). Any advice?

I’ve had issues since high school, but just formally got diagnosed with ADHD. I’ve always managed to get by okay at work (I’m no super star), but remote meetings have been really difficult for me and I now feel like I’m barely hanging on. Trying meds now, but no benefits yet. I have a offer from ey india - client morgan Stanley with offer -23 lpa fix + 20 percent variable. I will be working from pune location. Project will be somewhat relevant to fraud detection
Another offer is from citi with 24 lpa,project related to market risk And third offer from hsbc of 20 lpa with project related to insurance domain and i will part of a team they call as api team.

I’ve been told by SMD in Consulting (who recruited me) that I should be expecting L6 SM in the next year, year and a half, and likely won’t get promoted as fast in Strategy. Would welcome advice on how to think about transfer / negotiating compensation if I stay in Consulting. TIA!
