You can search the bowl and the answer will be the same. No layoffs. Plus Deloitte is not Guidehouse - what they do doesn't affect us.

G3 you need to relax. You’ve posted something negative on every single thread.

Not really only because Deloitte is so much bigger then Guidehouse. We haven’t lost business and we have won some work. I would think that would keep us safe.

We also know that while we continue to win new work, we do have folks on the bench and the leadership team has increased their efforts to get this folks involved vs hiring new talent.

Not in public sector

If that happens, multitude of other places are hiring and you shouldn’t be worried at all if you hold a clearance.

Deloitte layoffs mostly happen in their advisory part of the firm (separate from consulting) and in commercial. Their public sector is actually still predicted to grow this year, albeit by a smaller amount than usual. We are mostly public sector so I think we’re good

No - we have a mid year cycle coming up to push out low performers and highly paid directors are always at risk and will be first to go.

It was supposed to be in June. Though I have not heard a peep about it so who knows.

Deloitte cuts is low end performers every year.

Perhaps they should start with a couple of “partners”?

Will client facing employees go or will it be more back office??

Why August, G3?

Any wait until we hire their cast offs all here for more money

I think Client Services is generally safe - although we have far too many “chiefs” around here. I could definitely see layoffs in the business services team - especially because we are still merging teams due to the acquisition.

I’m on a long term project. My project is having me charge 10% of my time to a BD code. I suppose the argument could be made that we always do some BD to secure the extension of contract every few months but I’m level 9 and mostly just delivering client work (sometimes help develop assets as an extension of our delivery). Is this normal?
