Pardon my vent! Met my husbands family after 2 long years and they met my 15 mo for the first time! The whole time they kept asking me how long did I breastfeed? What food do I give the kid? What does he eat at daycare etc? My kid is at 38 percentile weight wise and I know he has lost a bit of weight last few weeks but that’s mainly because we are on a vacation and he is active as hell! I was on PTO last week and had some follow up interviews for a role I was interested in.

The bad news is, I promptly forgot to send thank you notes! (Family PTO in Disney/Kennedy Space Center - so a bit crazed!). I am back in the office today and sent the notes... but, I am wondering how big an issue this could be.

I joined the bone marrow registry while in college, nearly 20 years ago. Last fall, I found out that I matched a stranger with leukemia and ultimately donated stem cells. Over the weekend, I got to meet the recipient and her family (on zoom, can’t have it all!). She’s one year post transplant and cancer free! Pretty cool thanksgiving.
