Hell, I’d do it. Not like you can take a lavish bar vacation or anything right now. Also I love how at least one of the firms I’m aware of is also a firm that deferred the c/o 2020 until Jan/Feb with basically no compensation😐

If you’re going to post this, why not mention the firms?

Firms have done this for busy practice groups for years. If it’s happening en masse this year that may be notable as an industry wide thing, but on its own isn’t a huge deal. What’s weird is hiring your workforce two years before they are supposed to start, not changing start dates based on whether or not you need people.

May as well, especially given that people probably aren’t taking lavish bar trips these days. I started a few weeks early as a stub because the alternative was living in my parents’ basement or dipping hard into my savings to cover NYC rent without a salary.

Which firms are doing this? I’m looking to lateral as a first year and this is a consideration.

Can somebody please explain to me why MBB and other top consulting firms are so adamant that you have an MBA? I majored in accounting, finance, and operations management at a top 10 undergrad business school and then got my masters in information systems from the grad school program. I took multiple MBA courses as electives when getting my masters and it seemed like those classes were very basic and easy. Idk if I would learn anything in an MBA program that I hadn’t already learned in undergrad

Any current/Ex IBM please guide me to Opt In/Out of the IBM's Medical Insurance. To start of there is a co share of premium for a base sum insured of 3L which comes around 1790/- Then skipping the benefits for a second if I jump on to the claim part there is a Copay of 10-90. Employee will have to bear 10% of the claim and insurer will bear the other 90%. For dependents 20-80 Copay. Are the benefits are good enough to consider copay and subscribe ? Please Suggest.

The pressure at work has increasingly led to a strain on my mental health. I have allowed myself one too many times to prioritize the needs of others (clients, PPMDs, etc.) before my own and the price is showing in my inability to highly perform like once before. I’m at the point of not caring about anything any longer, even if that means risking my job. I’m not sure the reason I’m posting this—perhaps I’m seeking guidance or maybe I just needed to vent. Sigh…

Hey fam. Appreciate your inputs on this: I used to be a software developer and currently work as a tech risk consultant (CISA, CRISC certified). B) Will CISSP or relevant cyber certifications help?
