Applied to a paid media specialist position, well qualified. Was invited for a second round interview but before I could attend they reached out to me telling me they had closed the position because their candidate pool collapsed (they all accepted jobs and bowed out). Now they’re telling me I’ll have to re-apply when they re-open the position in the “near future.” Is this pretty much a lost cause? If I was the only candidate left and they didn’t pick me, what would be the point of re-applying?

So…..my director has been in the position for a little over a year. We’ve been working our tails off and last quarter were informed of no bonuses. Anyone have any experience with high deductible insurance plans with a newborn? Trying to decided if I should add my newborn onto my HDHP (I've met my $2700 deductible through delivery but my baby will have his own $2700 deductible to meet). Any suggestions on how to quantify admin assist on sales? I know it’s complicated per org, but trying to find a path so admin commission on sales isn’t subjective.

Lately, a lot of recruiters have been reaching out. I'm mostly happy in my role and w/my company (no longer w/Edelman), but one job caught my eye with a huge salary and title bump at a comparable company, culture and work wise. Feel like I was lied to when interviewing at my current agency. I was very honest how important work life balance is to me due to health issues. I’m only two months in & working 55-60 hours a week, having to sign it at 10pm for reports. Every account seems to be like this. How much of a red flag is it if I already start looking for new jobs?
