Applied to Doordash Sr Manager Strategy & Ops - passed the initial 2 stages - spoke to recruiter & then hiring manager. 6 YOE: non-technical tech startup (acquired unicorn) & FAANG background.

Now I have three 30 min interviews consisting of 1) behavioral talk 2) customer case study 3) Testing hypothesis building 0-1. Recruiter hasn't provided details on what to expect at each step. Anyone go through the process and care to share? Would appreciate mock interviews as well!

On 25th September I have completed my PDM discussion with IBM and HR told me I was selected and they will be releasing offer soon. After that I tried to contact HR, occasionally they will answer my call and telling that it is in process or HR is on leave. I sent many emails but didn’t get any reply. I am interested to join IBM. I have submitted Documents for BGV. What should I do any suggestions.

Cont… Friday came and went no communication. I allowed another weeks to pass and then sent another follow up email. She responded by apologizing not following up and informed me that recruiting handles that part of the process . What i didn’t mention was she had told me that if I get the position she would let me know and if I didn’t get it she would still give me a call . Another two weeks passed and I try emailing her and now she has stopped responding to my emails . Don’t understand this …..

I've been following Coforge LinkedIn page, and I have decent offer from them. In one call HR said we will be moving towards 5 days work from Office, to which I said I don't mind. Now that aside, their LinkedIn posts everyone at VP SVP levels are joining.. seems like they are growing very fast, as hiring at such high Positions happens only that time.

Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. So, if you work at TD, Scotia, RBC, could you let everybody know in the comments what’s the deal for each? Are you remote, on-site, hybrid of some sort?

What are some of the best questions to ask after an interview?

Recently got called for an interview for strategy/ operations role by a Faang company. I had my first screening call with the hiring manager, mostly all behavioral questions so hard to tell the result. The one area I felt I could probably brush up on is program management as my current industry is Pharma and tech industries are different. So any advice on program management interview guidance would be helpful. I have 18 yoe but still quite stressed about it.

I've applied and networked for my dream job and didn't get an interview this time. Also dissatisfied with compensation and some of the responsibilities at my current job but have a lot of opportunity to learn. So the question is do I stay where I'm not thrilled to be now because it's good experience to set me up for the dream job next time there's an opening, or do I leave now to an option that's better pay and more interesting but farther off the path towards my long term goal?

I am interviewing for a new IT Manager position. I started putting out soft feelers and then hit the hunt harder. The problem: I have one offer and need to give an answer by next Wednesday. I have two other opportunities that are in final steps but probably won’t have offers by next Wednesday. Both of the other offers will be higher pay but clearly are uncertain for offers. Do I accept the offer I have, which is a good one or wait for the other two to finalize and possibly miss out altogether?

What's a really good "difficult" question that you as a candidate can ask the (big law) interviewer?

Context: I had callbacks at a big law firm while i was in law school and after one partner finished her questions and I finished asking my questions, she told me to ask her a really tough question, something to really stump her. l fumbled and am pretty sure that majorly factored into the rejection.

What would you ask?

I had a interview with the technician recruiter at Yelp on 2/22, and an interview with one of the IT managers on 3/8. It’s been a week since my second interview and I haven’t heard anything. It’s for the same role I applied for back in 2019, which I did not get at the time. Should I follow up with an email, or wait a little longer?

I was upfront that I was not looking but because he was persistent and this could be something I’m interested in for the future, I had a sit down with him. At the end, he said the ball was in my court and he would love for me to go through a formal interview. The firm seems great, but my current position is 100% remote and fits perfectly into my schedule. Do I interview even though I wouldn’t consider changing until next year?!

So frustrated! My husband had severals with a company called Kabafusion and they gave a verbal offer. All he was waiting for was the official offer letter which never came. Now his HR contact won’t even txt or call him for an update.
