He has been super helpful in my career decisions so far and not sure if this will break trust and make things harder for me.

Desi 🐠: I was recently involved in a car accident with a rental car. I did not have insurance coverage through the rental company or the credit card. My rental car had no damages however the other car had some damages on it’s rear end which ended up costing the other person $3000. He paid $500 deductible to his insurance, now his insurance firm is reaching out to me to pay the rest of the amount. any suggestions on how does this work? Is there a way I can get the amount waived or reduced?
