Interviewed at my dream agency a few weeks ago. I nailed it and sent a thank you but I haven’t heard anything since. At what point do I give up hope?
My sister applied for her dream job in industry. First phone screen and then 2.5 hour remote interview with 5 people ( 30 mins each - hiring manager and upper mgmt. ) The interview was on Monday morning. She thinks it went very well - hiring manager opened with "We are delighted you applied". It is now Thu and she is getting antsy. What is a typical time frame to hear back after final rounds? She is thinking of following up Monday.
Hello there, i’m wondering if anyone on this group has experience opening your own agency? I was laid off in April and had been freelancing ever since. I have been luck enough getting a few projects without really seeking people out while slowly interviewing. In the back of my mind I have always wanted my own agency. How do you get more clients and dealing with the sales/pitching process on your own? also as WOC i don’t feel like have the right network to tap into for higher earning projects
Question on a case interview: how bad is it if you made one poor assumption in the beginning and acknowledged that assumption was the root of the inaccurate result at the end of the case?

How would it be perceived to reach back out two years later to a recruiter who I was working with for a potential job, but told them that I wasn’t interested in moving forward with the process (had an offer I wanted to take). I’m now back on the job search again. FWIW, the last email from the recruiter says they understood and would definitely want to discuss when I’m ready (I was two interviews down, 2 more to go at the time).
When is the appropriate time to let recruiter/hiring manager know I’m expecting? I have a good feeling about getting a FT offer in coming weeks (have a couple more interviews). I’m due in late Feb and already feel guilty not saying anything while expressing interest in the job. The company gives 6 mo’s leave with no wait period to qualify. If I get a formal offer should I bring this up when I accept? Or wait till after I start?
For the KPMG folks- I was invited for an interview, and I'm curious what would be a good range for asking salary - just to make sure I'm not way on the high end. I have a PhD and a little over 1 yoe in consulting working for a boutique firm (not small, but not huge).

I have progressive beliefs, but want to get myself out of the Twitter echo chamber. Are there any apps that provide just the news, without trying to curate content for you? I’ve also voted traditional republican in the past (states rights, small government), and could go back if they return to those ideals.
