So I just recently passed my CPA exams and I’m now looking for new opportunities. I’m hoping to work at a big 4 firm in tax and possibly connect with anyone working there right now. Please reach out to me, I would look forward to connecting and learning more about potential opportunities. Thanks!EY PwC Deloitte KPMG

I got a wall painted 🙈 just go for it/accept any fees that will come when you move out. It's worth it just to have home feel a lot like home

Depending on the charge, you could also probably negotiate painting it back, if it's worth your effort.

You can do wall art and use command strips to hang a lot of things.
Pffttt hammer and nail it in. Putty is so easy. Stick on wall paper.

Paint it back at the end of your lease

Just make sure you do it according to their requirements. Would suck if you spent the time and money to pain it back and then building management said it wasn't the right shade of white or up to snuff. Which the shady management people will do so they can collect part of your deposit while not having to actually repaint.
I definitely get this and can't wait to own a place and really go all out. But for my apartment I got furniture I really liked that was really versatile a few years ago so I've taken it to a few apartments now. Also I have some wall art (command strips are your friend) and some other decor items spread throughout, and I like to switch up my throw pillows to change the mood. And a rug to helps to define the space.
Since it's not anything that's permanent to the space, it works for a rental and I've been able to make it feel a little more like me because I've added things that I really enjoy.
Rugs! And a statement lamp or piece of furniture. Second the wall art. My sister got stick on hooks to hang a string of lights and it looks amazing.
Peel & stick wallpaper. Easy to put on, easy to take off.
I never got over it. I decorated some but when I finally bought a home is when I went all out and actually enjoyed it. I just had one sofa table that I did for every season but I do wish I would have painted I think it would’ve made a difference.
I feel this so much I could drastically improve the look and value of the condo I rent with a coat of paint, new flooring, and new cabinet doors. Some days I want to just do it and have my landlord thank me later lol.

Just did this! When we first moved we bought lower end generic “rental” type decor, but upgrading key pieces like lamps and picture frames made a HUGE difference
