As long as those two pages contain fewer typos than your post did, I’m sure you’re fine.
For what it’s worth, it’s all about beating the filtering algorithms now... so single page resumes with fewer “buzz words” may be less advantageous
Came here to say this
Yes keep it 1 page
Exp hire with 15 YOE with a 1 page resume saying this
Not that mind blowing I guess 🤷♂️
Mine is about 4 pages
I can summarize my life in 10 sentences - no one reads past 3 lines of resume
I live by 1 page every 10 years. no one cares about what you did as an associate when you are going for senior manager
I'm about 12 years in, it's been two pages for a while now.
1 page only. I started putting my LinkedIn direct link if recruiters want more details.
Who do you think is reading this 2-page resume? They barely get through one page. It's in your best interest to highlight the most important things for the human and computer.
Nope, mine is 3 pages and I have had great compliments from MBB, and FANG. SEO is the way to go with resumes!
basically mimicking what the opening wants in terms of key words, experience etc
Are u sure it’s mind blowing?? 😬😬🤭
Yup, very much.
EITHER WAY you haters. 2 or 8 pages. If you get a call back, or a job. they saw something they like in the pile of finesse we call a resume.
I know that absolutely pass on an resume over one page. building executive summaries is a key skill in consulting, if you can't do that with your resume, I'm absolutely not hiring you
Lol that's what the summary is for at the top (if you're into that).
Should be one word for me. CONSULTANT
Mine is 3 pages. If you’ve got a story to tell, do it. I’m about to double my salary based on a three page resume. To each their own.
Currently @ EY
No you don’t.
Really it depends on your field and what you’re applying for. Mine is 3-4, haven’t had any issues.
Mine used to be 3. Just cleaned it up and list companies and titles up to 10 years when I start adding the details.
Mine is two pages and people hire me.
I’ve been hired multiple times with a multi-page resume, but most of my experience is outside of consulting where there’s not as much equivalence between roles (so an interviewer couldn’t look at “Manager, Practice Name” and have some general understanding of what I do).
