Are a lot of offers getting rescinded lately? Went through a long interview process only to be told that they wanted to give me an offer, but they lost their headcount and could potentially come back with an offer in Q4 when the head count opens back up. Not sure if I believe that will happen, but just curious if we are seeing lots of this in the market currently?

If 5 business days after the final round they say you will hear back next week for feedback, safe to assume it is bad news? My rationale is that feedback generally = reason why you did not qualify. Or in this market is it now used to keep things vague and elusive? At the end of the interview they said they would be in touch at the end of the week (within 5 biz days).

I just applied for a position in PwC website for a job overseas. But, when I was finishing the application process I realized that there was an "application database" about a previous position I applied in my home country 3 years ago!!!
I'm planning to apply for other positions for Pwc and EY in different countries in Europe, but now Im scared of this "database" because it might show to recruiters the wrong idea that I'm desperate (?). Help 😰

Hey Guys, how to get started with CR? any tips??

My spouse and I are filing taxes for the first time; I'm a US citizen earning $100k, he's a non-US resident who made $20k last year. We have no children, but I have $300k in student loans and am on the Income Based Repayment plan. I know if I file "married jointly" then the tax savings will outweigh the potential increase in IBR payments, but I also know that my husband will likely be earning much more over the next few years.

How often can I switch my filing status? Will IBR accept it?
