It is usually a good sign. They are not going to waste time on someone they are unsure about....good luck.

Just a sign of what firms are like - partners and others pipe up and want to be part of the process when word gets around that a decent new hire might be on the cards. They wouldn’t do it if it was bad news, as others say.

They wouldn't invite you back if they weren't interested. Usually it's one person who has to weigh in that wasn't available on the prior day.

I interviewed for an employed role and knocked my business plan pitch out the park, but could tell I disappointed them with my technical. By my own admission I’m lacking in this area as only have 1.5 years experience with a poor manager who only had me focus on biz dev.

They asked me what my salary expectations are but had already hinted my experience would knock me down a pay grade.

As it was 4 of them and 1 of me I said I would email them. How do I play this without lowballing myself?

Law students: good for you for tracking me, an alumna of the same school, down through my firm website! You’re doing exactly what you’re encouraged to do! Unfortunately, I’m barely keeping up with my workload as it is, so at best you’re lost in my inbox and at worst you’ve irritated me!

Also, our recruiting procedures are super strict, so the best I can do is forward your email to the right people. And we don’t hire 3Ls. Get some experience elsewhere, then try for Biglaw again in a few years.

I've had my first experience where OC has done something so egregious, that I will likely file a bar complaint. I'd like some input/thoughts here because I do *not* take this lightly.

Bare facts: In a motion, OC said that I was lying to the court misrepresenting a recent phone call. OC does not realize that I have been recording our calls (it's fine in my state) in case something like this came up after previous issues with OC misrepresenting things to the court. Things I should consider?
