When and how do you approach the ‘Im pregnant’ aspect? Do you tell them during the first interview, second or upon getting hired?

Recently transitioned to a startup and my confidence has skyrocketed. Presenting, interviewing, making my point heard is SO much easier when I’m working with colleagues and not clients who I feel don’t want me there. There is hope, for those who doubt their confidence!

I had a first round interview scheduled and it was canceled last minute due to a schedule conflict on their side. They offered times later in the day that didn’t work. My response was brief (contd)

My current company is in talks with
me to hire me as a data engineer
right after I graduate with my
bachelors degree. From what I've
seen online (averaging 5 different
sites, I am including Glassdoor but
only the number they have listed as
the base) I'm currently expecting
about 85k base. Does this seem too
high? Just looking for some opinions
before I go in for my interview.

EXL called me for the Data engineer interview. I asked them the budget for the role. HR said, we can negotiate till 28 for 3.7 YOE🤣. Is it legit?

Hi Folks, What is the salary band for first year senior manager in assurance in GT and KGS, I am in interviewing process with both firms and need to quote a number, so want to get an idea of what I should be asking?

For those who have applied to and successfully gotten jobs at FAANG, how did you go about do so? Was it via recruiters or just applying to online job postings?

I interviewed for an employed role and knocked my business plan pitch out the park, but could tell I disappointed them with my technical. By my own admission I’m lacking in this area as only have 1.5 years experience with a poor manager who only had me focus on biz dev.

They asked me what my salary expectations are but had already hinted my experience would knock me down a pay grade.

As it was 4 of them and 1 of me I said I would email them. How do I play this without lowballing myself?

I just completely bombed my interview with McKinsey. I don’t even know if there is room for redemption for my next interview. Would it be bad if I emailed the person who interviewed me and asked this? If I don’t even have a chance anymore, isn’t it in everyone’s best interest to let me know now so that I don’t waste the second interviewer’s time?

Applied to Booz Allen. Interview and sec pre screen went well. I’ve reach out to recruiters a few times in two weeks and they say ‘we’re waiting for final approval from team to proceed’. Normal?

It's been over a week. EY L2 interview has been rescheduled twice by the interviewer, synoptek L2 interview has not been scheduled because the director is not available to take the interview (recruiter said). Things are not looking very good. What could be going on here?

My friend got interviewed last week at Infosys for the post of social media specialist position. It was a referral. The panel was happy with the assignment and interview also went well. It's almost a week, he doesn't hear back from Infosys. Should he drop a follow up mail or wait. He is in urgent need of job and actively looking to switch. Does anyone know what is the current hiring procedure at Infosys? Please help!

Is there a guide to hourly billing as a contract attorney. I obviously subtract for times i pick up the phone. Example minus 10 min at the end of an hour. But what about if I am looking something basic up that a seasoned attorney wouldn’t be. Or what if my skills are weak in a certain area and it takes way longer than what it should. Is there a suggested schedule of how long a task is to take.

I've had my first experience where OC has done something so egregious, that I will likely file a bar complaint. I'd like some input/thoughts here because I do *not* take this lightly.

Bare facts: In a motion, OC said that I was lying to the court misrepresenting a recent phone call. OC does not realize that I have been recording our calls (it's fine in my state) in case something like this came up after previous issues with OC misrepresenting things to the court. The pay is better than what I make now but I don’t think I want to continue doing insurance defense (I actually hate it) and LB seems to have a reputation as a bit of a typical ID sweatshop. Previously worked at another large ID firm and every day was a nightmare.
