Are airlines giving refunds? Or only modification of reservations? My family and I were supposed to fly in April on Royal Air Maroc, the website says they will only allow a 6 month travel voucher....

But can’t even get them on the phone, they don’t answer emails, tweets, nothing..... and who knows if 6 months will be long enough? Is it wrong to want a refund so I can hopefully just go when we feel safe to do so?

Most just giving credit from what I've seen

Delta has given refunds

Recently? They refused to give me one yesterday.

Wait to check if they officially cancel the flight. Once they due, they are subject to certain regulations that require them to provide a refund instead of a credit.

Or give them a couple weeks then try again, then call credit card company and tell them to reverse it

Thanks for the responses. I’m worried if I can’t get in touch with them before the scheduled flight they will try to say oh you are out of luck.... Customer service is just nonexistent at this point. The Moroccan government has banned any international flights so I guess all flights are effectively cancelled. I wouldn’t mind a credit, but I would want longer then 6 months to use it. Oh well, we will see 🤷‍♀️ thanks guys! Stay safe!

Thank you!

Hi all,
I’ve recently transitioned from Travel Customer Service role (8 YOE) to Analyst in the same LOB. Earlier I resolved travel queries through calls/emails, but now my role is to analyse travel spending on Amex cards. Now I want to remain in analysis field and grow. I currently only use SQL, Power-BI and MS-Suite. What should I learn further? Which tools or is there a course I should do? I’ve only done Graduation and thinking of doing PGDM in Data Analytics or BI.
Any suggestions?

Would you take a job that pays well ($100k more) but not very interesting to meet your FIRE goal? It may even be a step down in your career but well… it pays well.

Or would you take another job that you are excited for, mentally challenging, definitely going to be more stressful but it is going to push you toward a more fulfilling work (at least to my ego 🤣). It pays a lot less.
