What does your benefits package include?
Hi Fishes
I wanted to know the Employee Perks/ benefits provided by Freshworks Inc to employees.
I am currently working in a Company where in they pay ₹ 5,000/- a month for wellness reimbursement, free Cab, food Annual Education reimbursement upto ₹3,50,000/- etc
All employees are eligible to these benefits and these are beyond the CTC.
Does Freshworks Inc provide any of the above or any other benefits besides CTC ?

McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hiiii! I’ve been at my job for a year and a couple of months now & I’ve gotten rather bored because the work is repetitive, not challenging, and hasn’t really allowed me to learn or grow as much as I would’ve liked to. Given how I’m still paying a ton of money for my postgrad in Business Comms (that I haven’t really gotten the chance to use), I’ve been thinking of entering the world of consulting. Any word of advice? PwC McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group KPMG

Both responses above are half true. It varies by state. In many states it is required by law to pay out accrued vacation. It is not required to give paid vacation, so depends how your agency has it written in their agreements and based on the accrual terms. For example, if you accrue 1 day per month and quit in July, you have accrued 6. So even if you get 12 per year they are only legally required to pay you for 6. But in some states it is absolutely illegal for them not to pay it out.
Check your manual. My wife is an attorney that handles wrongful termination cases a lot, she said in NY unless explicitly mentioned in writing that you forfeit accrued benefits when you leave, they are required to pay it by law. https://ag.ny.gov/labor/labor-law-obligations-employees
@ACD1 sounds like you'll be giving a 32 business day notice
Shit I have 32 days and was planning on cashing out when I quit
Not at all
Publicis always pays
CA has to pay for any unused vacation days, yes.
Definitely not. Most don't.
I've always gotten paid out for my unused days.
Where can we find out for sure . Asking for NY
In NYC. No mandate here
The best thing to do is get your vacay approved before you put in notice
Depends on your state and your company’s PTO policy. If you have “unlimited pto” you likely won’t get anything. If you have a mix of “personal / flex days” and vacation you’ll likely only get paid out for vacation days.
Publicis New York most definitely pays out vacation, talk to HR, they will confirm. Note that they only pay out what you've accrued based on years of service at X days per month (roll over from year prior does not count).
Ipg paid mine out. Senior Management straight up told me that was not their policy lol
I was paid out fully in LA from an IPG agency. I had something like 29 days
@Publicis1 you're right about vacation days while employed (use it or lose it with 5 rollover days to be used by March 31). When you *leave* the company, days you're owed from that calendar year are paid out. This is one of the reasons that finance is so crazy about doing timesheets. Imagine all the vacation days they're paying out when ppl leave because it's not reported accurately in Altair.
Yeah I was asking for accrued and in NY. Also in the same boat of vacation not rolling over to next year.
Shout out to @Director 1 for providing law link!
Depends on the country
