Nothing is every guaranteed
Nope
😂😂😂 it's a running joke... there's this guy who was in my old practice who has literally been an analyst for 10 years. It's literally mindblowing. Well he's a SA now since all analysts got automatically promoted to SA at ACN in 2014 but still.
You can count on not being an analyst after two years...
Yup! Unless you screw up big time!
Yes pretty much at every firm unless you suck
You are born with these basic entitlements OP. Of course you will get promoted !!! You deserve it irrespective of how you perform.
Well, I know two of them personally. Both were poor performers and really didn't care about moving up.
Also, we are moving towards a new culture where it isn't up or out. Lots of people are staying at levels longer than ever. You will be promoted if you deserve it. If you don't, you will not be promoted.
No. I know a handful of people that it took 3 years for their promotion to C from BTA
Deff not
SC1 - curious, do you know any specifics as to why? I've never heard of it happening.
At pdubs it's 3 years to Senior standard track
LOL
There's just now way. 1 year 8 months to 2.5 years is standard at every firm unless it's PWC in which case it's 3 years for your first promotion
Every year I look to see if he got promoted... it's so sad.
A3 you have got to be shitting me... I mean I've heard of firms not having an up or out culture but jesus christ
Acn has an up or our culture ...?
Apparently not
K1 doesn't know what he/she is talking about. It's highly dependent on practice. The bigger practices generally don't promote to SA until 3. If you're sharp you'll get it in 2.
Someone in my class took 3 years. They resigned in their third year though. I think you have to really suck.
