Hello Fishes,
I had given interview Mindtree and cleared both technical rounds. On Tuesday 29 March 2022, I got a call from HR for the final discussion. After that I have not received any response.
I have been calling the HR and her manager, both are not responding to mail or calls.
Is there a way to get some information if my candidature is still in progress or is this delay natural? I have another offer from another company, but am more interested in joining Mindtree.

Sounds like you might be a lot happier at Booz then. For one thing, PTO doesn't count against your utilization here, they remove it from the denominator and I've never heard a peep about using it all.
As for the extra networking and firm initiatives outside of client work, that's really left up to you. You absolutely *can* put a bunch of time into those things and it will probably help you move up faster, but you can also just put in your 40 hours at the client site and be done and nobody will hassle you about it.
Have worked for both the green dot and Booz. Booz is much less intense and competitive, though still fast-paced with great people. Booz does not require all of the extra stuff that Deloitte does - mandatory networking, firm contributions or training. Agreed you should ensure the project is what you want.
There are too many variables a question like that. It will really boil down to your immediate team and project. A bad project at Booz will make the Deloitte grass look greener and vice versa. Deloitte will have more perks like being able to expense things that you could only dream of at Booz.
Booz is typically less douchy and has a better work life balance, but as D1 pointed out, so much of this is project-dependent. You could join a project full of douchebags and/or one that expects you to work all the time at Booz, or have a great work life balance and a supportive team on a project at Deloitte.
Just do your best to get a sense of the team you would be with and follow the money other than that.
I loved my time at Booz Allen but ultimately left because I 1) felt I was underutilized and got bored and 2) I was very underpaid. The project managers I directly worked with tried to match Deloitte’s salary but it was up to my SA and he declined
A lot of what I dislike about d is the larger firm stuff. The culture of networking, feeling like I have to socialize after hours and do firm stuff in addition to be good at my client work. Choosing between utilization and taking PTO. I'm looking for something more 40 hours a week, which I've been offered with smaller contractors, but so far nothing I can commute to.
@BA4 I have 196 hours of PTO but it’s basically impossible to take it all or anywhere close to all. You can’t sell it back either
I wouldn’t want to work somewhere that doesn’t really follow through on what’s promised. I know it’s all semantics but that’s an untenable situation in my eyes.
