Are any of your brands/clients still trying to spend production money on Organic Social Media Posts?

No. Just my accounts staff and my creative department despite me pleading for them not to.

One account I’m on insists on posting organic content across F/I/T/pin 3+ times a week. Even though I’ve told them that we don’t have endless content pools to choose from and we need to focus on bigger and more impactful uses of social. They wont hear it. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I won’t name any names, agencies or clients... but I felt complicit in a crime when they spent $1M+ on a production boondoggle that had zero paid support. There is no field of dreams. If you build it they still won’t come.

Yes. And they don’t get why that’s not going to work.

Yes. And I don’t understand why. Sag Actor’s...for organic posts!? Good lord, please have mercy

There are still brands that can benefit from organic content on twitter and Instagram

Less is more these days. More time and money spent on paid.

Don't have to always pay SAG prices if the agency isn't a signatory. But all organic should have budget for paid. It's why more and more clients are doing it with publishers and media dollars (and yes, sometimes sans ad agency) - Get organic posts and paid support via publisher plus celeb level talent.
