Idk I think working at a creatively driven agency as an account person will teach you to fight for the work much more effectively than if you start somewhere that is more account driven.
👆🏻Disagree. Working at known agencies early on is absolutely important for Account. Whether it's for a known client or helping craft great work, it makes a big difference in your career, and honestly gives you really good exposure that you wouldn't get at smaller/less difficult shops
Everyone I know who was at CP+B during their glory days has gone on to be really successful. But sounds like it was pretty brutal while they were there.
I’d say yes but make sure you like and respect the team you interview with. People matter more than an agency name. If you’re working with a tyrannical dipshit then no it’s definitely not worth it.
Only if you’re a creative. As account, you want to work on a big account at an agency people have heard of, that’s all that matters.
So far, yes. It's a genuinely fun challenge. Best of all you can watch yourself improve at a fast rate while the blood pools on your keyboard.

Yes. The training is invaluable and it’s much easier to get your next gig. Yes yes yes
It’s definitely character building! Lots of people come and leave within weeks because they can’t hack it.
