Dude you work at IBM not KKR
Most people call them loafers
Gotta close that phase V HRIS implementation
Lol if I was at KKR I wouldn’t ask this silly question. But I’m talking about AE veronas. Wouldn’t pay for $600 shoes from Gucci or gamo
I wear the Veronas on a regular. I’ve worn them to clients that are business casual and more formal. I have the black ones and no one has ever said anything negative. Usually compliments or old school guys who travel a lot were like oh year loafers are the way too go because of security ( before pre check was a thing)
Lol they’re sleds - gotta get the bit loafers so people hear the ring
As with almost any question about clothing item appropriateness, it depends on your client site. My client shows up in jeans, sneakers, and a UGA hoodie, so the fact that I'm wearing a shirt with a collar meets the "dress one level above your client" rule of thumb. If your clients are casual, loafers are fine. If your clients are in suits, probably not.
expensive deal sleds will play at finance or other white collar clients, wouldnt wear them to an engineering firm, for example
Who are you trying to impress? is always the question I ask
I wear veronas to client site. Not a big deal
