What kind of opportunities would getting a certification in Googles AI Cloud platform provide?

Just passed my last CPA exam and will be getting a bonus in my next paycheck. I’d like to buy myself something nice, but I’m having a hard time thinking of what. I don’t wear a lot of jewelry. My hobby is photography, but I upgraded to a better lens recently and don’t really need anything else that I can think of, though I’m open to suggestions.

Curious to know what other people did with the bonus. (Aside from paying off debt, which is where a portion of it is definitely going.)

I just had the initial call with HR. I was told that Senior Analysts start at 56k and Business Operations Specialists start at 67k. I was told the next step was Junior Manager but they rarely started anyone at that level. I'm shocked. Is that accurate or are they trying to lower my expectations? I have an MBA and an MHA and 20 years military experience.

Been at ACN for <2 years in the T&O practice and being let go due to restructuring (new MD did not know me and my CC wasn’t very helpful in relaying my story). I got Workday PM certification which was approved by the previous MD and been involved in a couple of Workday HR Transformation engagements. I am currently working as a Data Science Analyst and would like to make a switch to Fraud detection/Credit risk modelling in future.(not in a hurry but would like to start preparing for the same)
How should I go about preparing for it? Is MBA the only course?

Hey fish, I contributed $6K to my Roth IRA but realized months later (just now) that I am beyond the income limit. Should I recharacterize the Roth IRA contribution to a traditional IRA or just withdraw the contribution? Or is there a way to still convert it back to a Roth IRA through a backdoor conversion? I suppose those of us in finance at big employers have to preclear personal trading/investment. Couple questions:
1. What’s your holding period? ie if I buy something then I can’t sell it for profit after 60 days (looks like cutting loss before 60 days is fine)
2. Is there a way to automate our investments to any extent? Every month my 401k contribution is automatically invested in firm-approved funds but I haven’t set up my brokerage account to do the same due to preclearance

I recently finished my interviews with a company for a senior role. At the time of the offer, the recruiter let me know they wanted to demote the role one seniority level lower. I was shocked as my experience was never a concern in all my rounds of interviewing. To make it worse they offered me the same current salary.
