Is it worth it to get a professional certification like SHRM/PHR? Not many of my colleagues have one and it’s not a requirement for my role, but I’m curious if it’s worth it in the long run
How’s life at ZS? Looking for a new role. Associate consultant role - can people share experience and compensation?
Why do so many people want to work at MBB? Is it the money, prestige, exit opps? I guess I’m entering the stage of life where WLB is most important to me...
What are some good exit ops for a Big 4 SC in financial services consulting and exit salaries? Haven't looked but want to get a gauge of what to expect, not limited to FS exit ops either.
IQVIA consultants, looking at an open role and would like to connect with folks / get a possible referral. I’m happy to chat and provide my experience beforehand. Thanks!

Has anyone made an exit from consulting to product management? I would like to do this but don’t have much experience. Would love to get advice on what training or books I should focus on to get a general background.
Hello fellow MBB fish! I had a question I am hoping to get insights on. I accepted an offer from McKinsey in NYC and was supposed to start in March, which I now pushed to May.
Accenture people. I am looking at a “Business Advisor” (technology implementation) role at Accenture but I am trying to understand how that compares to consultants. How does prestige or pay compare? Is this an entry level job?
So T1 is MBB and T2 is Big4?
In early talks for a VP position on the media side. What is a good salary range for that role? The initial band the hr team quoted seemed low to me.
What's the internal job transfer protocol for PwC? Do I really have to contact my RL first before applying anywhere? I'd like to stay in the same office and don't really care about getting a higher salary. Just want to stay at PwC in a tax related role (which is what I'm in now, just more niche).
Want to apply to MBB, not sure what the possibilities are: 2 YOE, ServiceNow / ITxM, Engagement Management, 4.0 GPA from Top 50 state school - do I stand any chance? Where could I fit in (technology / practice)? Boston Consulting Group Bain & Company McKinsey & Company Thanks!
Just got an offer outside accounting in tech and nervous as hell for what's to come. I'm scared that I won't be able to hang in my new role or with the new team and just want to say it doesn't matter how long you've worked, that imposter syndrome happens to almost all of us.
What's the pay range to ask from Amazon if you're accepted in a Project Manager kind of role and you come from big 4 consulting as a manager? Is 160-170K a good range to give? Too high or too low?
What’s the role of a counsellor at EY GDS ?? Whom should I contact for location transfer ??
What would you say is the generally typical number for working hours for junior level consultants? Maybe they’re different between MBB, 2nd tier etc... currently in APAC and trying to see if there is a significant difference
On getting into FAANG. For those who made the switch, what are the typical roles from, say, MBB? How did you go about it? What's needed on the resume if I'm planning 12 months out? Lvl and pay?
Recently applied to LEK Associate position. I noticed that my application is changed to Associate- February '22 (lateral) without any notification. Are there any actions that I need to take at this point? Wanted to make sure I'm considered for the right position.
I want in to this crazy socks trend.. I know super late.. but guess it's about time for this late adopter to adopt in. How do I begin?
Can anyone recommend a better conferencing tool than webex for troubleshooting between organizations that can’t screen share via Skype?
I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?
Guys I have a virtual interview with a company and it’s with 3 people in leadership in a little bit! Any last minute words of wisdom/advice/luck?! Could really use it!
Client just pulled EM away to "talk". That feeling you used to get when you got in trouble in school and you wondered if the teacher called your parents already as you open the door...

After applying to a job on a company's career website, Have you ever just went to LinkedIn and randomly picked a recruiter at the company and messaged them about the job you just applied to? Is that bad? I really wanna do it but very hesitant.
ACN: Can charge to central training instead of pto if I'm going to take classroom training and certification?
Anyone have a good idea what IT Recruiting Managers are making these days for corporate recruiting? About 10 years of experience.
A pharma client requires a urine drug test. Will my ADHD meds make me test "positive"? If so, is there a chance to provide my prescription to a medical officer to clarify? (cont)
Software Sales question: I just got a job offer to join a post-Series A with under 20 employees. On the equity piece, I was offered .1% equity at a $142m valuation. This is a Senior / Director Sales role where I'll be blending IC duties + managing a team as we grow. I felt this offer was a bit low from the equity side. Anyone know how to evaluate this?
Should I reach back to the recruiter on decision after I started new job? Would that be a red flag or they see i really like their company? I would join that company if everything's equal but had to start on current role since the other company was dragging feet a but on getting resources for the role. They might still be waiting for approvals for the role...should I just wait for them or keep talking? Last time HR did say to check back later.
Whenever I see “TC “ in the posts, I think about Test Cases, not Total Compensation. Is it because my Total comp is a Test to check my tolerance? Is it normal??
