Hi Fishers, I want to pivot my career into management consultant. I am currently working as a Market research analyst with 1 YOE. Can someone please suggest me how or where should I start to build my career in management consulting at Big 4.
Also, please suggest entry level jobs that I will be eligible for with skills in Strategy, primary and secondary research, and competitor analysis.
Thanks in advance!

Depends on the work. There are skill sets you can learn in gov that don't apply to commerical
Deloitte is a solid brand. Federal or not. My last manager at Deloitte federal left for a cushy job at Google
I’ve seen the same thing with other firms, too. Just have to have the right skill sets
I’m in federal and I have industry recruiters reach out to me on LinkedIn. I don’t think being in federal limits your exit opps.
A lot of commercial company’s sell to public clients or have congressional/federal affairs groups so there is always that route too
