My roommate just went to see her boyfriend knowing he has Covid. I asked her not to go seeing as I’m not vaccinated and she said she needs to check on him (he has 3 roommates so he’s not alone). I told her that if she goes to see him I’m not comfortable with her coming back and asked if she could stay with him until they both get a negative Covid test. She said it’s crazy to ask her to not come home and said I should get a hotel if I’m that concerned.

Best alt travel trip you’ve ever taken?

Hostels get a bad rep, I get it. I had to stay in one for a few nights, but it was a lot better than I expected. Granted I had a small bed and had to share the room and bathroom with 6 other strangers, but the atmosphere was more like a college freshman dorm and nothing like a homeless shelter. The even offered free breakfast and held social events. It was a lot cheaper and cleaner than the cheap hotels I could’ve stayed in. TLDR; Hostels > the gross ass Super 8 hotel I almost chose instead
