OP, just wanted to clarify - you're not talking about the Innovation and Thought Leadership track within Accenture right?
OP haven’t you asked this question? Lol
They most often are more technology enabled. They sit on this weird field between strategy and execution bc while they may be sourcing or strategizing an innovative digital strategy, they will also drive it to execution before the right team can take over
OP...are you talking about Innovation and Thought leadership (a career track within Accenture), or just innovation groups in general across consulting firms? I've not heard of a group called Innovation & Strategy within Accenture, and I actually happen to be in Strategy...
If you're talking about Innovation and Thought Leadership, that's a career track parallel to Client & Market consisting of the people who develop our official assets, though they may be executing on projects as well. They also focus less on sellling.
So every practice would theoretically have I&TL folks...hard to make a generalization about them since they're in so many groups
OP, what I'm saying is that I&TL is actually a group of people within Strategy (and other practices) that helps develop our assets.
For example, I know a Strategy Senior Manager on the Client & Market track within Accenture Strategy who moved to the Innovation & Thought Leadership track within Accenture Strategy because he wanted to focus less on selling and focus more on developing our internal assets (e.g., our IT Operating Model asset, as one example of what he could turn his focus to).
Make sense?
Accenture in general also has Innovation Centers - maybe that could be more around what you're looking for info about?
I know Strategy does indeed have Industry X.0 as one of our offerings - it's actually one of the areas we're recruiting in right now
A1, in general, how do they (Innovation and Strategy) compare across all consulting firms?
I worked at Accenture in tech and never heard of the IT group....
I suppose they are classified somewhere under Digital and Strategy.
Talking about Innovation & Thought, but not really sure if that’s the thing at Accenture
Then, how different is I&T from Strategy at Accenture?

Innovation and thought leadership is if u don't want to have sales targets. Pays less.
Industry X.O seems to have a Strategy & Innovation that’s not under AS but MC. Someone prove me right please
I thought X.0 was under Accenture Digital?
A1, is there any chance we can connect on Strategy work at Industry X.0?
OP, sorry buddy - I actually know very little about Industry X.0 or the work we do in that area. Just happended to see the area on a target list for recruiting recently
