Job offer dilemma:
I am currently at a crossroads. I got two job offers: Digital Marketing Specialist at a global agency ($58k) and a Print Marketing Specialist at a grocery chain ($70k). I have always been more connected to my creative side and it has always been my goal to work at an agency; however the grocery chain offer pays way more (I live in DC) but it’s more of a data-driven position. Thoughts ?

Hi all, I am based in the UK and looking for some advice...

Currently a Senior Consultant within the Technology Consulting team at EY. I have been here just over 2 years, been promoted recently to SC and currently salary is £46,200 (2500 per month). I don’t want to work in consulting anymore and have the following offer on the table:

Google, Contract, 6-months, £1500 a month after tax, Data Management Analyst. My thought process behind applying for and taking this role is (1/2 continued)

Just got told I’m being let go. I have had long Covid but have been finishing all my assignments and meeting all deadlines. My work hasn’t suffered as result, although they are are insisting this is why are asking me to leave at the beginning of the holidays.

What are my options? Advice, suggestions, comforting words welcome. Feeling a bit lost.

Are CPAs still needed/will be in the future? With all this new technology coming out, will technology/applications take over the role of accts? How soon?

Hi, received a job offer (accepted) with about 20K increase, 30% bonus and some stock option. Controller position at a startup company. My current company countered with 30% increase, 25% bonus and stock option (already being traded) not a controller title but darn close. Kinda torn as I believe i would have more growth at my current company.

Interviewed in industry and expecting an offer. If they said the role is currently filled by a EY Senior Manager, can I use that to negotiate a higher salary?
