I’d imagine it really depends on the industry but if an employer doesn’t accept you with your tattoos then I’d imagine those aren’t the type of people you’d enjoy working with anyway.

Depends on industry and even department
Definitely depends on the job and the industry. I was once interviewed by someone in hair care who was all inked up as the place was rather casual. I also recently worked with someone who had a lot of tattoos since we worked in a wellness center. But if you're working in fancy corporate office, they may frown upon it, though I do believe more jobs have loosened up a bit in recent years.
I'm sure they are a deal breaker for some companies, but overall I think tattoos are accepted in the workplace more now.
20+ years ago, yes. These days highly unlikely they care unless it's a distraction like a skull tatoo all over your face or if you dealing with other cultures that might find it offensive, i. e. Muslim customers.
As a person with 12 very visible tattoos I agree it just depends on what the job is or how the company is. I've only been once rejected from a job because of it but that didn't surprise me since it was a cleaning job at an international collegiate school. I find it funny because I have 17 years in that field and they keep reposting but it wasn't a surprise. I also now try not to apply to ones I know won't hire because of them
Depends on the company culture and the job you are applying to
