Are people including information on COVID protocols on their wedding websites for Summer/Fall 2022 weddings? I’m getting married Sept 2022 and I’m unsure whether to put a note about COVID on our website since it’s still so far out. Are others including info about potential protocols? If so, would you mind sharing what you have on your website (or whatever other kind of information source you’re using for your guests)? Thank you!

Ours says something like “We’re monitoring Covid and may have safety protocols in place for attendance. For the safety of our guests, we may ask for vaccination card or a negative PCR test before entering the venue. We expect to have updated guidance in January. ”

Yes definitely. We wanted to keep it short and sweet to start but expect to add expanded language like vendor rules closer to the date.

Ours was a 2021 wedding, so a bit different.. but in case it helps:

We wrote a blurb up about what we were expecting from our guests in terms of Covid protocol, but also linked to the States website which showed the rules that our venue, caterer, band, etc would need to follow, to help provide the context.

What is likely to be more relevant to you as states ease restrictions and May not have these resource pages, was that we noted we would continue to monitor the situation and see how things evolve and post any updates to the website, so to check back in. We then included an “updated on month/day” in the header so people knew how new or outdated our info was

We are requiring vaccinations and included that in the banner.

I’m including a response in the FAQ section that indicates likely plans - it says we’re hoping not to have COVID precautions but may require vaccination

Please help me select my insurance plan. I am married (going to be 24% tax bracket) with a baby so I can choose between low, medium or high deductible medical plans. My wife is anticipating having significant medical expenses for the remainder of the plan year over the max out of pocket (oop).

Taking into account employer HSA contributions, tax savings and the max OOP amounts, is it less expensive to go with the high deductible (calc attached)? Sounds counterintuitive, but maybe I'm incorrect.

Is Amex really worth it? My wife has a platinum card, and I have a Gold card - mostly because we used to travel a lot for work, but this has changed since COVID. I need help figuring out if I’m being underpaid. I’m working in real estate private equity and I focus on fund models and property valuations. I’m currently at base $80k and 20% bonus. On top of that I have 5 years experience and a masters in finance. I’m good at my job and receive positive reviews from everyone. I feel like I should be compensated better but the company says that’s what they think I’m worth. Any help or insights would be great!

Help- my FBIL is refusing to rent a tux for our wedding because he already owns one. It is a different tuxedo. We would like everyone in the same tux, which I don’t think is crazy to ask for? It’s not a financial issue and it’s not some sort of weird style. 11 other men will be in the rental, it will be obviously different. We’re paying a lot for formal pictures and while this isn’t a tragedy by any means, it is upsetting to my fiancé and I, especially as we ALWAYS go with everyone else’s flow.
