Are people starting to move back into the cities where their work office is located? I moved back home during the pandemic to save some money but I’m considering moving back to the city as rent prices are starting to sky rocket again and things are opening back up.

Rent prices have already skyrocketed btw

They can definitely continue to rise so I’m considering moving now before they get even higher. Just curious to hear if others have moved back to the bigger cities.

Need some advice: For context I’m an engineering student - I’ve gotten a role as a business analyst for a health tech startup that just raised their series A (10M) and is rapidly scaling. They brought me on part time until I finish up school in the spring. I negotiated to begin my vesting schedule now and I absolutely love the company and product-only problem is that I am losing all motivation for school…especially since it’s engineering. I’m going to finish-but how do I make it easier to balance

She brushes it off saying hes just fussy which kind of irks me. Im also concerned that he's spending too much time strapped in a stroller. Is it reasonable to ask her to take shorter walks? Previous firm culture was all about the people, new firm is all about being the best... I knew the stereotype here was about being *the best*, but didn’t realize that people who buy into firm culture/values just repeatedly talk about how “we’re the best,” and, “we work REALLY hard bc we’re the best!!” I’m trying to commit, but end every internal call where I hear these words feeling like 🥴😶🙄. At least at the old firm there were relationships to back up the people piece and make it relatable.
