Currently Staff 2 with MSF and MBA and one year prior industry experience, see a juicy consultant position at D that directly matches my skill set , chances?
Asking for my spouse. She is five months pregnant and has a amazon offer. She works for Deloitte too. Deloitte definitely has a better maternity leave but amazon is doubling her take home salary. Also agreed to work from home for two years. Thoughts? Stress wise her Deloitte practice ( strategy) is probably as stressful or more as compared to amazon role so it literally boils down to maternity benefits for us.
I’ve gotten a 2nd interview with another position within the same company, which would take me from being a contractor to staff. The interview is at the end of the week. I’m very excited about it, but I’m wondering when I should tell my manager that this is going to happen. I didn’t tell him before because it seemed like just another application that wouldn’t go anywhere. Do y’all have any advice?
I have left Deloitte after accepting another offer ( waiting to start the new role and taking time off between) . Now another dream role reached out to me for an interview. Should I tell them I am no longer with Deloitte if the HR asks? They had my old resume. Has anyone been though this situation? My main dilemma is I don’t know what to say why I left the job since the main reason was the new offer.
Wokewashing fading out? I work for a Publicis Groupe agency that went hard to promote DE&I and pushing diversity hiring goals last year. I was optimistic but all the big talk has subsided significantly since the summer. Anyone else feelings or seeing this at your agency?
What’s general turnaround time from final candidate interview to decision / offer? Friend I referred for a SD role has gone through the process (2 Partner interviews, 1 SD interview) with the last interview occurring about two weeks ago. She hasn’t heard anything from HR and HR hasn’t responded to her emails asking on status. Not sure if that’s par for the course or an indication she got dinged.
Have an interview tomorrow for what’s likely a dream job as first employment counsel to a small established pharma company with some other responsibilities which closely mirror my current role. I’ve got a referral from a current member of the legal team and an hr business partner who previously worked with the general counsel and is friendly with him. My guess is the pay will be a 40% increase or better plus stock. Just wanted to share because except my wife I can’t really tell anybody.

What’s the best way to contact recruiters and hiring managers? I have been sending them notes on LinkedIn, but rarely get any response
How many rounds of interview in EY?
Folks who’ve done their MS here (not MBA) - With 2-3 yrs of experience do you think a 1 page CV works or does one elaborate into 2 pages atleast. Also looking for perspective from folks who handle tech recruiting.
IBM is offering me the position of Test Specialist with 7A band but it has offered the position of Senior Consultant with 6B band to my friend. We both are having 6 YOE in Testing and have been tagged to the same project in IBM. Then why this difference?? Am I loosing out on my designation?? Or is my friend loosing out on band?? Please suggest.

Interviewing for MBB...how do I spin my tech implementation experience to strategy consulting?
I just started at a new job and noticed that whenever I go to start work, my blood pressure spikes (from 120/80 to 150/110) along with my pulse (from 80 to 110). I like what I do but it’s hard to ignore the affect on my health. What should I do, aside from meditation and deep breathing (which I’m doing)?
EY Virtual MBA... Huh... Didn't see that coming. Guess they'll no longer be give scholarships
I'm a United person but got a fast track for platinum on delta so I was thinking of switching. Anyone have some pros and cons of united vs delta?
Don’t MBA programs most want the people who don’t need/want to go to business school (Private equity associates already making tons, successful startup founders, etc)? Seems like they don’t really want anyone who actually needs business school for their career.
What’s the total comp for Principal at BCG? base + bonus etc. Searched online and on the bowl but no clear answers. Are there different levels to Principal and how does the comp change across levels?

Considering moving in-house or into public administration, perhaps getting an MBA or MPA. Being a purchaser of legal services, leading and motivating people and setting and reaching targets seems so much more interesting and a better form of stress than micro-nitty-gritty document drafting and negotiation.
How long will it take for the infy to release the offer letter once HR round and salary discussion is done? Pls put ur comments fishes..
