If you don't expand testing, you avoid reporting high numbers.

Perhaps the inverse is true. D states are over stating deaths in an order to extort federal emergency funding from orange man

So they are funding deaths because they are not testing those who died from COVID19. Don't authorities have to certify the cause of deaths.

By funding deaths, I meant fudging death causes and numbers. Sorry, fat fingers.

I live in Florida. The governor’s administration is actively suppressing information. Told the coroner that they should stop releasing data on deaths because it showed that they were undercounting COVID19 cases. They are also only tracking testing done at public facilities and not privately owned labs. This will certainly happen in other red states.

Red state governors have blood on their hands. They are promoting opening of businesses based on fake data and putting their state residents at risk. The residents of red states should be skeptical. YOLO. You do not want to die because your governor fudged the numbers by categorizingit incorrectly.

My brother is a first responder. Believe me the numbers are being under estimated because so many DOAs that had all the symptoms were never counted if they weren’t tested but everyone knows they died of Covid.

They don’t pack 9 million people into a 300 square mile piece of land like NYC.

I don't want to get vaccinated. I have debilitating anxiety, asthma, severe allergies to everything under the sun and afraid of a reaction. I have recently recovered from Covid too. I hate how ostracized society friends work everything is making me feel about this decision, which I know is only an inevitability at this point because my family is overseas and I can't not see them for the rest of my life. Anyone else in the same boat as me? PS. If ur here to bash on me keep it moving.

Anyone else tire of the “plant mom” and “dog dad” me too conversation? It seems to be more frequent. For example, company says, “Parents, please share pictures of working from home with your kids during Covid” for a diversity and inclusion project. Undoubtedly someone responds, “what about my plant babies? 🤣”. I don’t want sympathy but I find it childish. Just give us the courtesy of understanding that plants and pets are not the same. Stop “me too’ing”

Hey ladies:) how are you dealing with the feeling of not keeping up with private and work life likewise, how do you decide which sacrifices are worth it? Am 27, single and 90% of my friends &most coworkers are in relationships, many are getting married or pregnant. I actually love my private life and mostly my job, but it’s cont. getting harder going e.g. on vacay with friends, spending weekends not third-wheeling, or getting to know a guy that’s single - & both even more due to COVID and work:/

I’m definitely not the only one with sentiment for this statement: 2020 was a year of loss. Our design team was reduced by 75%; when I signed on there were 20 designers and now there are 3! Attorneys with the firm often send firm-wide emails advising of in house openings with a corporate client, and solicit recommendations or resumes of qualified candidates. Usually the client contact is a hiring manager for the position. How do I show interest without completely shooting myself in the foot? While I ultimately do want to exit the firm, I also don’t want to be openly broadcasting my intent to leave by telling the firm attorney(s) that I’m interested. Thoughts?

In these times, if your referral bonus is $1k or less for seasonal employees you are asking for: 1. Employees who put in work to refer people that end up negotiating a part time option don't work on referring anyone else. 2. If the potential new hire gets an offer, employees have 0 incentive to convince them to accept it. This can even lead to them giving negotiation tips which get the new hire a $5-10k higher offer. They may even recommend accepting a diff firm's offer straight up.
