Larsen & Toubro Infotech Hello all, What is the YOE needed for P4. During HR discussion after interviews i was told that will get P3 and 10% variable but in the offer letter they made it P4 and variable to 15% where over all package is same so technically my basic fixed has reduced and variable has increased. A lot of folks seem to have this idea that median household income in the US is around $60k.
Actually for households led by age 25+ it’s $70k.
For households with a BA or higher it’s $109k.
And for those who live in major metros I bet it’s even higher.
What do you think? Higher than you were expecting?

I dont see how else. Just saw a fang opening thats a fit but it had 200+ applicants within a day. I can see why recruiters would choose to favor referrals.
I applied directly and got in. Your application will be looked at if you apply without a referral but you need to make sure you are a good fit for the role to get an interview.
Referrals give your application more leeway but you still won’t be able to land an interview if your resume is not a good fit.
For example, applying for a senior strategy role when the bulk of your experience is PMO is not going to get you an interview regardless of how good your referral is.

I have applied directly and landed interviews. So far the jobs haven’t made sense for me but it’s possible!
