Are roles in large established FMCG (Unilever, P&G, Mondelez etc) still a good training ground for people early in their careers? I ask as I'm looking for my next career move. However my friend has mentioned that a lot of them have frequent restructuring as they follow the zero-based budgeting methodology in a time when they are pretty mature. Was wondering if any fishbowlers have insight or work in large FMCG, who could shed some light.

Hey Nordic/EU fish, My friend received an offer from Nordic offices of McKinsey and BCG. While I'm at BCG in the US and can articulate the differences, I don't feel comfortable advising for the EU. Can anyone speak to the major differences between the firms in that region?
