Are security certifications worth getting as an SE?

I work for a SaaS company that deals occasionally with sensitive information. I’m hoping to build my foundational security knowledge to be more credible with prospects. Will getting a cert help? Any suggestions? Looking at CCSK (CSA) and CC (ISC)2 as options.

I haven’t personally found any of the certs necessary unless you specifically work for a cybersecurity SaaS company. Even then, I’ve only seen the CompTIA certifications provide good value for the required cost/effort.

I’ve never been in this situation b4 and want to make sure I get paid adequately but I’m young and have 0 insight.

How do i enter in VC at an analyst position (pre-MBA). I have been working in a consulting firm (focused on healthcare. Not MBB) in India for the last 2 years and have applied on the career portals/cold emailed multiple VC firms. I havent received any response till date and was wondering what would be the right way to go about this since its a very small network in India . Any lead or guidance is appreciated.
Thanks.

Was offered a role at AWS/ProServe. For those currently at AWS, anybody know what happens for years 3-4 and beyond? Is the expectation that your total compensation drops in years 3 and 4 and each year after that? I’ve heard that RSU refreshers are only granted sometimes, and usually they’re not enough.

Is this accurate?
