Are specialized diaper pails really worth it? Or would a diaper bag (like the dog poop bag) and a regular trash can work just as well??

It’s so dependent on how frequently you take your trash out. We have a diaper pail, but basically stopped using it because we just take our normal household trash out about every other day, so we just toss diapers in there. We were taking the diaper pail bag out less frequently because it filled up slower, and I noticed a strong smell just from opening it to drop a diaper in (Ubbi). I’m huuuugely aware of smells and the normal trash + diapers doesn’t bother me at all.

Unless you want to take it out to the dumpster daily, it will stink up your house.

Yes, get the diaper pail. Trust me. That’s one baby item worth investing in, unless you want your home smelling like dirty diapers.

Love our Ubbi, now that our kid is out of diapers we use it as our bathroom trash can. Look on fb marketplace!

I’m a 2nd year associate and I’ve been working at the same firm since I started. In a nutshell, I love the work (the practice area) but not the people very much (it’s just not a fit). I’ve been thinking of leaving for some time. I have an opening at another law firm, but my practice area would be different. Should I just wait for another opening in my area of preference? With Covid, openings are rare for entry level associates ...

Fishes, I have a job title question. Does it matter if a role is in the same project with different titles? Example: SA, State and Local, Researcher vs SA, State and Local, Business Analyst. The job description makes it sound like they are the same project. However, Business Analyst does have more requirements/qualifications listed than Researcher. I’m coming from industry (3 YOE). Any insight is much appreciated! Thanks :)

Hypothetical: If you are new to a job and working part time on a startup and your team was accepted into Y Combinator, would you quit your job so you could go full time for the three months? You have other full time founders so your company would still attend without you, but presumably you would miss out on most of the experience and networking opportunities.
