Are tech companies generally willing to sponsor employees to take on roles outside of their own country? Live in the US currently but I want to get more of a global perspective, so I was hoping I could try living in Europe or Asia for a bit.

For some people looking to get into ketosis for performance, but struggle with staying in it:
i recently worked with a research team investigating the effects of ketone esters (a drink). They are better than their alternative form (ketone salts usually cheaper and has contaminants). You take it about an hour before you workout or do your activity. Its good for endurance, cognitive function, and there is hints that it helps muscular endurance activity. Received a written offer from Amazon 4 wks ago, pushed for higher level, reinterview. HM supported it but couldn’t get it done. My og offer went from start date of oct 10 to Jan 3rd. Recruiter said the numbers are locked. I couldn’t reach the HM. Running out of time I accepted. I contacted the HM again saying yay! I accepted. I Have been ghosted for 5 days. Recruiter said background check should come via email soon. Haven’t seen anything. Weirdest experience ever. Why wouldn’t the HM reply?

Hello, I just had to vent a little and maybe ask for your opinion. So I’ve been working at my job for four years now and I’ve never gotten a promotion. On top of this, I do extra duties that my coworkers don’t do and struggle with the work load. I feel like I’m being taken advantage of and am not sure what to do. I feel like going to my boss and refusing to continue to do these extra tasks without extra compensation. Am I being a baby about this?

I've been a programmer in the games industry since leaving education a few years ago, and am consider moving over to tech industry instead. Has anyone made a similar move? If so, how easy was it, did it set you back much career wise?
