Hello,
Last Wednesday I was able to get a Deloitte job referral, I applied the next day. Yesterday I signed in to my account and it shows that I applied for the job but when I click on the link it show me an error page. I searched for the job on the website itself and it disappeared. There were like multiple positions but different locations, now they’re all expired. What does this mean? Did they choose a candidate already? It’s weird it never happened to me before
Thank you in advance 🙏🏻

No, even for client facing roles it’s largely based on your engagement experience
A1 is incorrect. Your engagement experience has very little to do with exit roles, at least if you're client facing. Many folks at MBB leave to go do things that are completely unrelated to the work they did while at MBB. Personally in the last year have seen industrials -> finance, industrials -> food, healthcare -> tech, and a few others. Yeah the engagement experience can help, but it sure isn't a "you did this at MBB so we'll only interview you for that in industry"
You know the requirements and hiring bar are quite different between solution/knowledge and integrative/expert track, right? McK can open doors for sure but whether you can ace the interview totally depends on you and your experience
At the exit opp. They certainly want you to have the required skills for the new job and it would be reflected by stories from your working experience (which may vary a lot from team to team at McK)
