Has anyone else had this experience? How are non-reelect teachers viewed in the profession and by future employers? It seems so cruel when a 2nd year teacher is told they will not be re elected to continue the next school year and not given any explanation. This is supported by ed code, sad. Haven’t heard back from McK since I submitted my resume through a referral 1.5months ago (experienced hire). The person who referred me says it’s still “under review”. Is there any way I can follow up with my application, or should I just take this as a rejection?

I’m currently working at a management consultancy (approx. 5000 employees) in the data division (in the UK).

I consider myself to be a top performer and was recently promoted from the grad scheme after 1 year at the firm (compared to average 1.5-2 years). I also have an offer for similar role at big4.

Is it worth applying as an experienced hire for MBB? I didn’t go to a target university so I’m wondering how I can maximise my chances in applying.

Friend started networking for MBB 4 months before anticipated interview date. Little case prep. Partner asked “fun” question how they’d approach something ~ totally caught off guard 😟. Friend wasn’t structured, nervous, thinks the convo will hurt her. She didn’t get a reply to her follow up....(1/2)
