Are the personal loan services/apps like Upstart actually legit? I still don't do things like Robinhood because it freaks me out but I like the sound of Upstart.

Never done Upstart, but know people that did and it’s legit. I also do Robinhood and love it!

Upstart was behind a loan I got from my bank, which was TCF at the time but since got bought by Huntington. In any case, low apr so good to consolidate some CC debt for now

Just started with Robinhood seems legit. Got and paid off an Upstart loan of over 15k that was instantly approved and received the money in my bank account within 48 hours. I was pretty pleased with the experience.

I've used Upstart. They are pretty easy to work with, decent APRs and all that. They helped me out a lot when COVID first hit and I needed to skip a payment bc my partner lost their job. I'd recommend them.

I've used Robinhood for years. I don't know about Upstart. I might hold off on that one.

Thank you, everyone. I'm going to go for it then. Really appreciate it

Current offers: Accenture (12LPA fixed, 2.5L variable), Cognizant (14.3LPA fixed, 45K variable) 2. Nature of work - What kind of work can I expect from these companies? 3. would I get the opp to use any authoring Tools? 4. Work life balance - which is better? 5. Increments - avg % hike? 6. Culture - which is better?

Men, why ghost women on dating apps even though you showed interest? I matched with a guy on Hinge and he asked me out. We were supposed to meet Thursday night, but I forgot that I had something for work, so suggested a different day. Not only did he not respond, but he also changed the pictures on his profile multiple times, making it obvious that he was on the app/saw my messages! He then unmatched me. Never met him, so obviously not the love of my life, but just genuinely curious.

Hello, All! I'm looking for recommendations on inspirational content for women leaders. I follow TEDWomen, many podcasts, and the Women's Conference among other sources. I'd love to hear a fresh perspective on business, trends, tech, marketing, equality in the workforce, etc. I'd love to learn something new. I'm at the VP level and have started a couple of companies, so nothing too junior, but open to many topics. Please share any speakers, books, webinars, or events that you may come across.

The HR said I can do some brush up and let her know once I’m ready for the interview and she will schedule it then, as if i go ahead and fail now, i wo

This may be an unpopular opinion.

But I think it's kinda shitty that when FAANG people get laid off, everyone feels bad for them and they get so many resources to get rehired, but the same is not true for people that get laid off at smaller lesser known organizations.

Like those FAANG people will be fine, they got generous severance packages. The people who actually need help often get overlooked or are forgotten.

Q: for FAANG recruiters, do candidates get a reject stamp after failing even at the later stages?
I advanced to the last stage at
Facebook (Meta) around a year ago but failed on my last interview, a combination of not being familiar with the process and not having chemistry with the interviewer.
A friend who is a hiring manager recently recommended me and this time without even a HR call I received a straight up thanks but no thanks email.
Does this mean I’ve been permanently black listed?

I studied computer science in school but I didn’t do well due to life coming in the way. I got poor grades but ultimately finished my degree without any internship experience.

After three months of job search, I started for 45K at a construction company as a Jr App Support. After a year I shifted in to QA for 65k and now after a year of QA, I have finally gotten a position as a software engineer for 78K base.

The imposter syndrome is finally gone!

I’m worried that my job is disappointed in me. I’ve been getting meetings after meetings where they are saying “you’re doing good but this could be improved” and a lot of it is the same things where I make the adjustment with one person but then I get another email from another person over the same exact task. The training they gave me wasn’t the best (they said so) but I’m worried that this may end with me being fired. Should I be worried?
