I was just given a promotion and the compensation was lower than what I hoped given my external market data research (20k under that) and knowing the midpoint to my previous level (9k under that). Basically it went the way we fear as women - I was told it makes me look ungrateful.

They are really interested in my profile. I was interested in the work so I asked the recruiter how much would I be paid and she said 60k. I feel like I'm stuck because it's a really good offer considering my skills and experience but I'm afraid if I start negociating and ask for more, it would be considered rude. Any opinion?

I recently received a job offer at a new company (!!) but I'm only 6 weeks away from being fully vested at my current company (which has a policy where you need to make it to three years or you don't get to keep any of the company's contributions).
Is it worthwhile telling this to the HR team so I could get a delayed start date at the new company? Or is that a no no?
The companies are a part of two different holding companies btw.
