Are there any agencies that cover infertility treatments? I am looking ahead at medical/benefits for next year and considering somewhere new.

Dentsu covers it. Up to $35k for treatment and up to $10k for RX (lifetime). I’m on my second round of IVF. For 2021 they are covering egg freezing too. I also learned (along with so much during this process) Certain states actually legally require that some coverage is a part of insurance coverage.

There are some hoops to jump through but Accenture covers fertility benefits (only if the parent who would become pregnant works at Accenture I think) up to $20K (per lifetime 🙄) and unlimited fertility drugs. An article in campaign from last year says droga used to cover $30K of fertility benefits though Wieden covers up to 30K and includes egg harvesting for IVF and freezing (no need for diagnosis of infertility).

Doner does cover some - can’t remember how much.

I’m moving to Healix in the next couple of weeks and their benefits info packet included stuff about fertility treatment programs covered up to $20k if you go through an affiliated center ($8k if not affiliated). There’s also a maternity support program for pre-conception and neo-natal care as well as a neo-natal resource for high risk pregnancy case management

Publicis covers some (very little) and there are some “creative” ways to use other benefits for fertility treatment costs.

I think Intouch Solutions does. Big pharma clients.

I had the weirdest thing happen to me. The CTO flew down to meet with me and discuss start date, OTE Salary, and even emailed me the benefits guide. He scheduled a meeting with the CEO and said “offer letter to follow.” Three hours before the meeting the CTO called me to tell me they were rescinding everything due to a business decision that they aren’t filling the Solutions Architect role. Does this happen? What should I think of it?

Advice/experiences please. About 5 weeks pregnant and feel like total trash... basically like I have a flu (but 99% sure I don’t, it’s just the pregnancy). Could I or should I try to take some sick days? It feels like that should be an option (esp now with covid and unlimited sick days) but I feel like I never hear of anyone doing this. I also don’t want to tell my work what the “sickness” is. I just finished a project so no one is relying on me right this second. What would you do?

Not bragging or showing off, but our household TC is £225k excluding bonuses. Somehow we manage to save £6k a month after paying out mortgage & bills and then a further £2k in corporate pension schemes. We invest our savings but the feeling of putting away £8k each month feels great. I thought when I'd get to this stage I'd have more desires to spend the money but there is nothing I can honestly think of right now that I'd love to buy. I didn't even spend a penny during the black Friday sales

I never thought being a mom would be this difficult. I am working full time, have an infant who wakes up every 3-4h and doesn't fall back asleep unless held in arms, am breastfeeding for medical reasons, and feel resentful and beyond tired all the time. I hate the fact that my body is so different to how it was before, that I don't have a sense of self any more, that I can't disconnect and take a break (and this is likely to not change for years to come). Is this normal or unfit to be a mom?
