At my firm (or at least the office I’m in), all of the JV and entity docs associated with a RE deal are handled by lawyers from our corporate group. The RE lawyers mostly just stick to the dirt work. I don’t love it and I’m beginning to question how “normal” this division of labor is. How does your firm handle it?

Going to Tahoe to ski in Feb. I have the option of a 1.5 layover in PHX or 3.5 hours in AUS.

Is 1.5 hours enough in PHX for bags to transfer? I really don’t want my ski equipment to miss the transfer but 3.5 hours seems overkill. My layovers will both be around 5pm local time if that matters.

Whenever I got promoted to digital ACD a few years ago, I noticed my pay was much lower than I expected for the market I’m in, hard to find skillsets, performance, and visibility I’ve brought to the agency. I’ve brought this up a few times and was told HR would do research into salary equity, but the convo always fades. I put my foot down with my GCD, and she supports me, but I would like to come to the table with my own research. Where should I be looking for accuracy?
