How is Kaar technologies?
Hey Googlers, I’m going in for my GCP TAM second round on Monday and had a few QQs for you all:
1. For the RRK2 case study if there is a scenario for handling peak time workloads where the client did a lift & shift of a monolithic architecture, is the best suggestion to move them to micro services to enable serverless and auto scaling features?
2. I was told that they’ll give me 15 mins to prep after the case study is shared live, would you suggest I build a 1 pager or is that not required?Google
Plz recommend good CFA level 3 prep course?

Why don’t you check the app
I did, there’s none in Lake Louise proper, but curious if people have done the YYC -> Lake Louise route and recommend any properties on the way/outskirts of Lake Louise
Hey there, grew up in Calgary. Highly recommend getting a place in Banff then driving to lake Louise (30 min drive) or if you have the funds, splurge on the Banff springs or Chateau Lake Louise. Canmore and Banff will have Airbnb’s but do not recommend getting a place in Lake Louise unless you plan on skiing the whole time. If your looking for bars and food, Banff is way better to do both ski and enjoy the town. If you don’t want to stay in the mountains, Calgary is about an hour and half drive to Banff and two hours to Lake Louise. Calgary is a fun city for a couple of nights but the mountains are truly amazing. I would recommend doing a night or two in Calgary then staying in Banff or Canmore for the skiing. Also if you don’t have a rental car, they have busses that go into both towns to pick people up. Feel free to message me with any questions!
Banff fairmont springs hotel is 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I’ve been working on Calgary for past 6 months. Only Marriott property I know of that is “close” to banff entrance is the kananaskis resort (autograph collection). It’s super nice with an awesome Nordic spa but it’s about 2 hours from lake Louise
😏😏
Sunshine Village and Lake Louise are the two best hills in the area. Don’t even bother with Norquay
Norquay is not bad at all if the conditions are good. Small, but far less busy than Sunshine or Lake Louise. It's popular among skiiers.
Agree that Kicking Horse or Revelstoke are the places to go.
There is a Residence Inn in Canmore I believe.
Canmore is between Calgary and Lake Louise, has some nice trails around there too
