How's the general WLB working in Singapore? I've heard a lot that it's the norm to work late and on weekends.

Hi Fishes, I have an offer from Evalueserve as research lead and Ey GDS as Assistant manager health science and wellness, rank 22. CTC wise EY is paying 5 lac additional per annum as fixed but I am looking for good work and better wlb. Can anybody suggest me which to select.

I am a pharma postgraduate with 7.7 yoe.

Spouse and I are exploring having children seriously. However, one factor is what it would do to partnership opportunity. Not from the firm’s point of view, but from other parents’ point of view, did you find having kids slow you down / can’t focus on work as much / can’t bill as much or did you find your growth to continue to go well (even if not “as well”)?

How does a person change their mindset to be more positive? I feel like I’m meant for my job, but blame all my life problems on it….having no energy, being single at the age of 30, etc. and it seems like a never ending loop. I look for new jobs, realize I have a good job then am ok for a bit then start it all over again. When I’m off of work I’m fine and realize I have it pretty good. Only real negative is I can’t vacation with my family in March due to my busy time.

Anyone made a pivot to a construction project manager from another field? I’ve got an amalgamation of experience from other fields (safety, procurement, logistics/supply chain, project management).

Trying to figure out how to rewrite my resume to get into an entry level PR position after 7 years as a Paralegal/Legal Secretary. My undergraduate major is in Communications already, but I was in the legal field as part of the family business. I know some core skills transfer over such as writing, analyzing and researching, but how do I make those skills marketable in a PR setting?

I'm also taking some Coursera classes relating to PR/Social Media marketing to refresh my memory from college.
