Current finances:
-75k in the market (VTI,QQQ, ETFs and stocks)
-20k in Emergency find /Cash
-30k in Roth(maxing since 2019)
-60k in 401k (maxing since 2019

I don’t got much money expenses and wanted to know where to put my money during this market for the next couple months. Is it smart to DCA? Put limit orders in? Just hold cash?

-minimal rent / expenses (~1000/mo)
- started HSA this year
-130k, 3 YOE
- no debt

Renting a 2BR + den / 2BA condo in the west loop, available in July. Prime location, <5 min from morgan el stop. Unique timber loft. DM if interested!

It is easy to see more homes coming up for sale in DFW as the are sitting on the market longer and have seen a lot of price cuts as well.

Question: Is now a good time to buy or wait till Q1/Q2 next year?

I know the saying " the best time to buy is when you can afford" but I am trying to understand the expected market.

- fairly decent place to work (from someone who worked with the Vancouver and San Jose offices). never met a blue badger (permanent employee) who had awful things to say.

- Ashley Goodall (their SVP, Methods & Intelligence) co-authored a brilliant book on leadership and people management called “Nine Lies About Work” that makes me believe they can be an awesome place to work

Cons:

- red badgers had low morale since they’re contract workers and can be terminated at any time

Our district is so lax on the students this year. With tech issues and distance learning days, we’ve gone from accommodating to enabling real quick. No penalties for late work, taking excuses for attendance, lower academic and behavioral standards... We were beginning to make so much progress on transforming our school culture, but this year is erasing that and then some. Is anyone else concerned about how to raise the expectations and students’ self-discipline back to pre-enabling levels?

I get called by the name of the only other person of color of my ethnic group in my practice group. We’re both brown women and certain seniors consistently call me by their name, send them emails directed to me, etc. this happens from multiple people. I have been seeing my therapist for years. She is great and feel like we are friends as well. We just talk via phone because I relocated few years ago. Again, I'm so grateful and don't know what I'd do without her.
She constantly is late for our apps. Like 30-60 min late. Always an excuse. It's honestly really hard from an emotional perspective, because sometimes I'm really counting on those calls and to wait around for an undetermined amount of time is taxing and frustrating.
