Are there any forensics practices that are known to prioritize work life balance?

I love this job but I hate the hours and the fact that I’m constantly working weekends, holidays, or vacations.

Is WLB in the region really as bad as it's made out to be? Any firms or countries to target that offer better wlb than others?

Wanted to attend an event organized by Infosys (STG Makethon) but I am having a difficult time to convince manager to attend event.

a) How have you handled such situations?
b) How many people are attending the event without having to put in extra hours on days before/after the event for completing the client deliverables and sacrificing your work life balance?

Today I received a call from the Accenture recruiter who had discussed my HR round and my profile was put on hold. She told me that at level 10 the maximum fixed salary can be 11.10 LPA and rest variable.
11.10 is fine or can they increase upto 13 LPA?
I told her to proceed my profile although I am having offers from other organisation like PWC with 14 fixed, but I beleive Accenture is better in terms of work life balance and onsite opportunity.

I was on social media today and reading about the Adam Toledo video and it took me back to last June, which on top of the pain from seeing this racist system continue to win out, June was my lowest billing month and hurt my confidence about hitting hours compared to my white peers.

I’d like to work for the FBI either as a Special Agent or Professional Staff as a Forensic Accountant. I am currently a Senior Forensic Accountant at a public accounting firm but we mainly handle commercial damage calculations, business valuations, and SOME investigations that one might think of as “was there fraud? We’re not sure, please Mr. Forensic Accountant can you take a look at our QBs?”

Any advice on getting into the fraud industry as a fraud analyst, forensic accountant, etc.? I have 12 YOE in accounting in various industries (healthcare, banking, & nonprofit). BBA in Accounting, MBA, Enrolled Agent (EA) & a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). I currently own/operate a small accounting firm where I help businesses of various industries. I'm looking to go back to corporate full-time/remote for more stability & better health insurance for my for my family & me.

Any hiring managers or senior managers from the Big4 (or any other firm with a forensic department that handles investigations or claims services like EY’s I&C or IFCS) that would be open to reviewing my resume and providing any suggestions before I start submitting applications?
