Hi everyone!!! Last year I put together a list of classrooms to exchange valentines with! We mailed 1 valentine to each class and included a picture if we could, and a few things about where we live and things we do!
I currently have 13 classes signed up! The more the merrier!!
We have classes CA, WI, PA, KS, TX, RI, MI, Canada, New Zealand.
I have a form to fill out if you are interested! I will email everyone the list probably at the end of the week if not sooner!

The new Defender is more capable than the old one. It’s also 10000x easier to live with as the ergonomics aren’t garbage and it doesn’t leak during a light rain.
This is the truth. Old defenders make for great weekend toys for the beach but you couldn’t pay me to daily one on the highway / rush hour traffic.
I know a guy who made 4-500m in his late thirties. His daily driver is a Golf R as nobody thinks anything of it. There are some nice toys as well though.
I'll second this and add GTI/GLI. Lots of people making 50K and 500K just like the little VWs.
1988 G230 is pretty classless. 🙂
I hear you. Still, several sold for $25-35k on BaT over the past 12 months.
I guess maybe an American perspective but pretty hard to say even the old defender is “classless” when even a 20 year old one is a minimum of 50k, although largely driven by the limited NAS sell in + asinine import restrictions.

I sold mine, but my last one would turn 50 in 6 months :(
I mean Range Rover in general is class right? Personally I always get the lowest trim level or “classless” trim level of the vehicle I buy.

What does classless mean?
Plenty are out there in the mid / high 30s on Craigslist if you don’t mind 2.0 diesel, manual and non-restored condition. RHD also drives a nice discount.

SM3 — rich or poor, we wait patiently to tow our Ford. I have an 18 year old Ford diesel (I’m a blue oval guy) and you’d never be able to tell me apart from the rest of the crowd. But I do believe that most truck owners are not pompous in thinking about the “class” of people, rather appreciate the hard work of all.

I suppose I’m thinking wrangler, maybe bronco, and grenadier.
Depreciation and pricing very much remains to be seen - I mean I’m hopeful and have a deposit down, but the only public pricing info I’ve seen is 48k GBP for a two seater commercial version. Feels like the same bait and switch that Land Rover pulled when they said the new defender was going to be available around 50k usd, without saying explicitly that that pricing was for a 90 in the commercial hard top config and now decent 110s are 80k minimum. Most of the reporting and rumors I’m seeing on grenadier are now saying 75k-125k, and why wouldn’t they do that - there’s a massive market of people lining up to pay for it
Jeep Grand Cherokee, Lexus RX, GMC Yukon, a higher trim level F150. These are all understated cars that are quite comfortable but not ostentatious.

I don’t see anything specifying off-road in this thread, so I’d also say the MX5.
