A masters degree in intelligence, check out Mercyhurst — only one really worth looking into IMHO.

funny

@OP I didn’t go to Mercyhurst, but I studied in a similar program and am familiar with their program, so feel free.

MPP, MPA, MA IR, MA SS, etc. Language helps a ton, but it us still a crap shoot. Do you currently have a clearance?

Are you at accenture now? I didn't realise we did top clearance work in those markets

No specific graduate degree, but they like folks with STEM masters, JD’s, and MBA’s for their Clandestine services folks. Computer science, engineering, and math have always been popular.

Data Quality for Actuarial and Data Analysts

How much time do your analysts spend cleaning and structuring data vs actually performing analysis? I feel like I’m fighting data quality/support issues just to keep our quarterly reporting processes alive, much less creating value-adds through actual analysis or new technology implementation. What’s normal vs how it should be?

Happy Saturday! All week 3 challenges due by 9pm to qualify for prizes! Here's a final GUESS WHO for the wk. This person auditioned for Up With People when he/she was 20 and was selected to tour around the world with them for a year. He/She would perform for groups and events held at the civic center solo, as a child. He/She would sing and dance at these events. He/She also won 1st place state UIL in poetry reading. This person loves to "roll" with whatever comes his/her way!

I'm tired of seeing pictures of kids on LinkedIn along with some trite comment about work-life balance, being thankful for their firm's generous policies, blah blah. I can't stand when people use their kids to get more social media engagement. I know this is nothing new and people do it all the time on Facebook, Instagram, etc., but I find it extra cringe-worthy on LinkedIn. I don't feel like I have the right to make that irreversible choice for my kids.

Going to be an experienced hire from a boutique, starting as Consultant in London. I gather that in terms of trying to drive greater choice of projects & greater promotion opportunities, you need to network internally. What does this mean? What’s the best way to do this (remotely & not) as an experienced hire?

Question:
If you had a secret clearance, but take a job where all you need is public trust. Secret will not be active anymore.

If you are looking for jobs that require a secret clearance, can you say "yes, you have one" since the investigation is good for 10 years?

Seems kinda gray since current job doesnt have it, but there is an investigation out there good for 10 years. Anyone know?
Thanks

I did not realize for some trainings for compliance were not self-study, but live trainings. I worked at Deloitte and they were not live. I had two trainings due earlier this week and realized last week that only live trainings were available. I emailed KPMG and they assigned me the trainings take these live trainings. They emailed me that these overdue trainings will negatively impact KPMG. what are the potential consequences since I can’t even take them until June for one and one in September?
