Are there any leaders with opportunities at some of these new spaces in healthcare? Does any one have leads on places like CityBlock, Teladoc, Oscar Health, etc? I think those spaces are very WLB friendly and certinly interested in joining.

Recently promoted Deloitte SM in GPS/C&M (TC - approx. $225K for those who care :)). In the market to switch to Healthcare industry at a Director level. Accenture and others are ringing my phone off the hook. Accenture is offering SM level. Does it make sense to give up 10 years worth of network in Deloitte to go to a comparable firm for some raise and start over with no network? Or, should I stick to my original goal of switching over to the industry for a better W/L Balance?

Received a job offer. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on a concern I had about it. It's an entry level position, and I don't have much experience. The billables are 2040 a year. For billable hours in civil litigation and insurance defense, is 2040 hours for a 1st year associate on the high end in this field for a small or midsize firm? It seems like most attorneys I know have minimum requirements of around 1800. The compensation is around 80k a year.

Additional Posts in Healthcare Administrators/Healthcare Leadership

Hello. I recently accepted a position as Assistant Nurse Manager at a busy Cancer Center in Brooklyn. I have leadership roles such as charge nurse over the 8 years I’ve been an RN so Ive never had an official management role. I have my BSN and OCN. The AVP agreed to match my current salary which is 6 figures because I refused to accept the salary he was offering for $5K less. Did I accept an unfair offer or should I expect that because of my lack of experience in management? Thanks

What is a good base salary and total compensation package minimum for a Senior Clinical Program Manager position in PA? Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of Healthcare experience, 3+ years of outreach activities and quality initiatives, insurance plan experience, 3 years experience managing a pcp office. Would be first role at this level.

I have a Masters and 8+ years working in an external relations role in a hospital. I have since moved to the payor side. Would it be valuable to pursue another graduate degree (MPH or Dr PH) in order to advance in the payor world or would more education actually hurt my chances?
By advancement, I mean I would earn the degree and then try to find a job at a competitor. My leaders either don’t have graduate degrees or they don’t seem to value them.
