Nope. I have no desire to work full time and go to law school at night, to basically do what I’m already doing.

🙋🏼‍♀️ I have always wanted to go to law school! I’m just so torn because it’s expensive and I don’t want to lose time with my family at night if I’m going to school and working full time. Because there’s no way I’m quitting my job to go back to school. Then there’s the idea that I will basically be doing what I do now, it will just carry a higher weight, so to speak. So am I basically going back to law school to get the title and a pay raise?

I’ve got a TC for a city firm so I’m just paralegalling as a stopgap to get experience

Makes sense!

I have a law degree. Took the bar. Didn’t pass. Now I’m a paralegal. Sometimes I think maybe I should’ve done what everyone else did — Med school… depressing.

Why does the street, and people in general, care so much about the technicality & formal announcement of a recession (2quarters of negative GDP)? Q1 was heavily negative GDP and now FED Atlanta revised Q2 Fcst to 0.0% growth. Let's be honest with ourselves, we are in one now. Why does nobody think this narrowly and wait till data release day and then finally screech "wE aRe iN a RecEsSioN"

Is it ethical for an old job to reach out to you because they’re being audited and want specifics on a case that’s 2 years old? I have a question for my fellow PI paralegals in Texas. TPCIGA requires that we submit all medical bills through the clients insurance before proceeding further. The client in question has Aetna. I sent the bills with a cover letter to Aetna via certified mail. I am having so much trouble getting a status on said claim. Does anyone here have experience with that and can assist me? Any help or guidance is appreciated.

I hit my one year at my company on the 15th of November. I had lunch with my boss on the 10th and he mentioned a raise but not how much or when it would be effective.

Flash forward to now, we’ve had 2 paychecks since then and I haven’t received anything. He said last week he would let me know this week, but I’m getting frustrated.

He’s raising my billing rate effective Jan. 1, and I’m worried I won’t get my raise until then. Anyone have something similar happen?

How realistic is it to get a remote paralegal position with less than a year experience? I was just laid off from a small firm and loved the remote work environment…

Going in-house was the best decision I have ever made. Never going back to a law firm 😅😅
